Reactive silazanes and ceramic precursors are heat-curing Si-N polymers whose Si-H and Si-vinyl groups do double duty: crosslinking sites for hybrid and rubber systems today, and the molecular route to SiCNO/SiCN ceramics under pyrolysis. Four grades cover the practical matrix: SILZ-350 (Si-H + vinyl, high MW), SILZ-351 (vinyl, low viscosity), SILZ-701 (Si-H, low-to-mid MW) and SILZ-702 (Si-H, high MW). The vinyl/Si-H pair — 351 with 701 — crosslinks before pyrolysis and reaches ceramic yields above 75%, while the high-MW grades form coherent 350 °C-service films on their own.
